If only this was our reality.

Our little yellow burrito...

During our stay in the hospital the nurses tried many times to teach us how to swaddle. Even after numerous lessons, we just couldn't get it right. So, we cheated and bought a Miracle Blanket as soon as we were home from the hospital. And so became our little yellow burrito.

At the hospital...

Chloe was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon. We arrived at the hospital on Monday, November 26th, at around 11:30pm. She arrived 11 hours later after an hour and forty five minutes of pushing. The experience was absolutely amazing, although quite exhausting. We stayed at the hospital until late Thursday morning when we finally felt ready for the trip home.

Oh how she loved that heat lamp!

And just when you thought it couldn't get any bigger...

For those of you who did not get to see the live circus that was my belly, here are some bump pictures.

Bump or no bump, the leaves had to get raked.
